Love Notes to a City
You know that feeling when you're walking along and you find a dollar on the ground and you say to yourself, "Awesome!" Well imagine walking around and finding a love note! That would be just as awesome!
I read this amazing story and wanted to share with you. It's inspiration to me and I plan on being an active participant.
Love Notes to a City was the genius idea of Krystyn Heide who wanted to offset the bad feelings from an anonymous hate note found at a coffee shop and from the crowd hanging outside of Heath Ledger's apartment which is right acoss from her office. Her idea after encountering all of this was to write small notes of love and spread them around New York City.
I love this idea! Be a large city or a small town, anyone can participate. All it takes is writing a short positive love note and leaving it around town for someone else to find. Hopefully those that will find your love note will be inspired to also spread the love.
I'm headed out to dinner with my boyfriend tonight so I'm planning on spreading my own love notes around. I'll report back with some photos!
